Sister taxon: Laganosuchus maghrebensis
Type specimen: MNN IGU13, a mandible (nearly complete lower jaws). Its type locality is Iguidi, which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial horizon in the Echkar Formation of Niger.
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution: found only at Iguidi
