Sister taxon: Laganosuchus thaumastos
Type specimen: UCRC PV2, a mandible (anterior portion of the left dentary). Its type locality is Laganosuchus maghrebensis type locality, which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial horizon in Morocco.
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Algeria (1 collection), Morocco (2)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
