Type specimen: Its type locality is Pr-1. the abandoned quarry on the east side of U.S. 92, 1.1 km northeast of Dent, which is in a Virgilian shallow subtidal limestone/shale in the Glenshaw Formation of West Virginia.

• Carboniferous of United States (2: New Mexico, West Virginia collections)
