Type specimen: RM 3061, a set of vertebrae. Its type locality is Coal Mine Point; Divison 4, Section XV, coal-group 15, which is in a Westphalian A mire/swamp sandstone/coal in the Joggins Formation of Canada.

Distribution: found only at Coal Mine Point; Divison 4, Section XV, coal-group 15
