Type specimen: CGM 41850, a mandible (right dentary preserving p4-m2). Its type locality is Quarry M (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian fluvial sandstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry M (Jebel Qatrani Formation)
