Type specimen: CPC 276, a partial skull. Its type locality is Ejido Porvenir de Jalpa, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Cerro del Pueblo Formation of Mexico.

Distribution: found only at Ejido Porvenir de Jalpa
