Type specimen: IVy 0124, a valve (Upper valve). Its type locality is Dage, Laochang, Yujia, Xuanwei Fm, Fuyuan County, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Xuanwei Formation of China.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Dage, Laochang, Yujia, Xuanwei Fm, Fuyuan County
