Type specimen: BPI 420, a skull. Its type locality is Locality 16, Upper Luangwa Valley, 0.75 miles north Sitwe, which is in an Anisian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Ntawere Formation of Zambia.
Ecology: herbivore
Distribution: found only at Locality 16, Upper Luangwa Valley, 0.75 miles north Sitwe
