Type specimens:
- Dolichuranus primaevus: CGP ⁄ 1 ⁄ 711, a skull. Its type locality is S slope, hill north of Etjo Mtn, which is in an Anisian terrestrial shale in the Omingonde Formation of Namibia.
- Rhopalorhinus etionensis: Geological Survey South Africa, R320, a skull. Its type locality is N slopes, Etjo Mtn, btwn lower + middle arenaceous layers, which is in an Anisian terrestrial shale in the Omingonde Formation of Namibia.

Distribution:
• Triassic of Namibia (3 collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
