Type specimens:

  • Subvishnuites welteri: Its type locality is Noil Boewan, Niki Niki (Owenites beds), which is in a Smithian marine horizon in Indonesia
  • Parinyoites mastykensis: TsGM 8235/5. Its type locality is Mastyk River, outcrop 24, which is in a Smithian marine limestone in the Yatyrgvarta Formation of the Russian Federation.
