Type specimen: holotype TTU-N09/75, paratypes TTU-N09/76-78. Its type locality is Pine Springs area, Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Capitanian basinal (carbonate) floatstone in the Bell Canyon Formation of Texas.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore-suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Pine Springs area, Guadalupe Mountains
