Type specimen: BMNH R4828, a partial skeleton (Skull with partial postcranium including cervical and dorsal vertebrae, pectoral elements and humerus). Its type locality is Berwick, which is in a Barremian marine claystone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Berwick
