Type specimen: Geological and Palaeontological National Museum, Zagreb, a partial skull (short section of rostrum with teeth). Its type locality is Podsused, which is in a Tortonian marine horizon in Croatia.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Podsused
