Sister taxa: Daohugoucossus lii, Daohugoucossus shii, Daohugoucossus solutus

Type specimen: CNU-H-NN2006006, a forewing. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2006 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 2006 collection)
