Type specimen: YPM 18278, a pygidium. Its type locality is Locality 5, Hillyard's Canyon, Zone "E", which is in a Stairsian shallow subtidal limestone in the Garden City Formation of Idaho.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Ordovician of Canada (2: Alberta, Newfoundland collections), United States (6: Idaho, Utah)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
