Type specimen: NIGPAS 133713, an exoskeleton (Missing four basal abdominal segments and left wings). Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Daohugou (NIGP collection)
