Type specimen: GSC 44783, a cephalon/head (Cranidium). Its type locality is GSC 56430, Stepanow Creek, Hare Fiord, Ellesmere Island, which is in a Moscovian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Hare Fiord Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at GSC 56430, Stepanow Creek, Hare Fiord, Ellesmere Island
