Type specimen: BYU 5058, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is Section F. 60 meters below base of Joanna Limestone, Confusion Range, which is in a Famennian marine shale in the Pilot Shale Formation of Utah.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Section F. 60 meters below base of Joanna Limestone, Confusion Range
