Type specimen: USNM 116515, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Loc. 10, Greenmount Church area, which is in a Chatfieldian carbonate shale in the Martinsburg Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Loc. 10, Greenmount Church area
