Type specimen: PIN 254/2171, a wing. Its type locality is Vishnevaya Balka creek, Karagan, Stavropol (PIN collection 254), which is in a Miocene lacustrine shale in the Karagan Formation of the Russian Federation.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Vishnevaya Balka creek, Karagan, Stavropol (PIN collection 254)
