Type specimen: BYU 2071, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is H-20, which is in a Blackhillsian open shallow subtidal grainstone in the Fillmore Formation of Utah.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at H-20
