Type specimen: MCZ 5125, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Oxley collection, Broom Point South, which is in a Tremadocian slope grainstone/mudstone in the Green Point Formation of Canada.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Ordovician of Canada (1: Newfoundland and Labrador collection)
• Cambrian of Canada (2: Newfoundland and Labrador)
