Type specimen: YPM 18056, a pygidium. Its type locality is Locality 5, Hillyard's Canyon, Zone "G(2)e", lower, which is in a Tulean shallow subtidal limestone/conglomerate in the Garden City Formation of Idaho.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Locality 5, Hillyard's Canyon, Zone "G(2)e", lower
