Belongs to Peltabellia according to R. A. Fortey and J. S. Peel 1990

Sister taxa: Peltabellia baumannensis, Peltabellia glabra, Peltabellia lata, Peltabellia peltabella, Peltabellia sibirica

Type specimen: MGUH 18.960, a pygidium. Its type locality is 'Winterhouses' (GGU 206483), which is in a Tremadocian platform/shelf-margin reef lime mudstone in the Poulsen Cliff Formation of Greenland.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at 'Winterhouses' (GGU 206483)
