Type specimens:
- Mesochorista proavita: GSQI32, a forewing. Its type locality is Denmark Hill Insect Bed (Dunstan 1909 collection), which is in a Norian pond siltstone in the Blackstone Formation of Australia.
- Eoses triassica: UQ F7853, a forewing. Its type locality is Railway cutting, Por. 202, Par. Chuwar, which is in a Norian lacustrine shale in the Mount Crosby Formation of Australia.
