Sister taxon: Oreophlebia abanica
Type specimen: PIN 1332/2, a hindwing. Its type locality is Sai-Sagul, Shurab III (PIN collection 1332), which is in a Toarcian lacustrine - small claystone in the Sagul Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Sai-Sagul, Shurab III (PIN collection 1332)
