Type specimen: Its type locality is Jiangshan, upper Dengying Formation, which is in a Meishucunian marine phosphorite in the Hetang Formation of China
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at Jiangshan, upper Dengying Formation
