Sister taxon: Syntomospina kuehni
Type specimen: F19-76Ao. Its type locality is Mazhai, Kaiyang, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Longtan Formation of China.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore-suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Mazhai, Kaiyang
