Sister taxa: Notoblattites mitchelli, Notoblattites wianamattensis
Type specimen: GSQI25, a tegmen. Its type locality is Carrington Brick Company's clay pit, St Peter's (Dunstan collection), which is in a Pelsonian/Illyrian pond claystone in the Ashfield Shale Formation of Australia.

Distribution: found only at Carrington Brick Company's clay pit, St Peter's (Dunstan collection)
