Sister taxon: Shishaella ussuriensis
Type specimen: MGL 74333, a carapace. Its type locality is Episkopi, Sample 90-46, Hydra, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Episkopi Formation of Greece.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-suspension feeder
