Type specimen: USNM 494403, a partial skeleton (incomplete skull and first two vertebrae preserved in three dimensions). Its type locality is South of Negritos, which is in a Thanetian offshore shelf siliciclastic in Peru.
Ecology: nektonic omnivore
Distribution: found only at South of Negritos
