Sister taxa: Jeffersonia exterminata, Jeffersonia granosa, Jeffersonia jenni, Jeffersonia striagena, Jeffersonia timon, Jeffersonia ulrichi, Jeffersonia viator, Bathyurina megalops

Type specimen: U. Mo. No. 10337, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is MR-15, Hwy 5 and Bryant Creek, which is in a Stairsian carbonate chert in the Roubidoux Formation of Missouri.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at MR-15, Hwy 5 and Bryant Creek
