Belongs to Euxenoperla according to E. F. Riek 1976
Sister taxa: Euxenoperla oliveri, Euxenoperla similis, Euxenoperla simplex
Type specimen: C-Dt II 773ab, a forewing (distal 3/4 of forewing). Its type locality is Bird's River (C-Dt II), which is in a Carnian lacustrine - small shale in the Molteno Formation of South Africa.
Ecology: volant detritivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Bird's River (C-Dt II)
