Sister taxon: Pachygenys adachii
Type specimen: IGV 294, a mandible (Incomplete left mandible with complete lower dentition). Its type locality is Doushan Village, which is in a Barremian terrestrial sandstone/mudstone in the Doushan Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Doushan Village
