Sister taxa: Presbyornis isoni, Presbyornis pervetus, Presbyornis recurvirostrus

Type specimen: PIN 3104-607, a set of limb elements (distal end of left tarsometarsus). Its type locality is Tsagan Khushu Quarry 1 [SMPE], which is in a Bumbanian terrestrial gravel in the Naran Bulak Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: volant herbivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of Mongolia (1 collection)

• Paleocene of Mongolia (1)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
