Sister taxa: Magnicapitatus angulus, Magnicapitatus latus
Type specimen: NIGP 139380. Its type locality is Khao Makha, which is in a Capitanian open shallow subtidal packstone in the Khao Taa Ngog Formation of Thailand.
Ecology: epifaunal
Distribution: found only at Khao Makha
