Type specimen: MNB 4083v, a limb element (Incomplete distal fragment of a right tarsometatarsus). Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: volant insectivore

Distribution: found only at São José de Itaborai
