Type specimen: BMNH R8130, a mandible (right dentary). Its type locality is Mammal Bed, Durlston Bay (DB83), which is in a Berriasian marine horizon in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Mammal Bed, Durlston Bay (DB83)
