Type specimen: Whitby Museum specimen, not lost, a set of vertebrae (sixteen consecutive cervical vertebrae). Its type locality is Whitby, alum works rubbish heap, which is in a Toarcian marine shale in the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Whitby, alum works rubbish heap
