Type specimen: MCZ 6176, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Eichstätt, Solnhofen (SNSD Dresden collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
