Type specimen: Gentilini col. MC 1219, a hindwing. Its type locality is Monte Castellaro (MCSN collection), which is in a Messinian lagoonal marl in the Gessoso-solfifera Formation of Italy.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Monte Castellaro (MCSN collection)
