Type specimen: USNM 485530. Its type locality is Guojiashan Section, Bed 20, which is in an Anisian carbonate limestone in the Guojiashan Formation of China.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at Guojiashan Section, Bed 20
