Belongs to Trochotoma (Discotoma) according to H. Z. Pan 1977
Sister taxa: Discotoma planoconvexa, Trochotoma (Discotoma) gansuensis, Trochotoma (Discotoma) multipleura
Type specimen: NIGP 24180, a shell. Its type locality is YHS458, Heping township, Jinggu County, which is in a Carnian marine horizon in the Weiyuanjiang Formation of China.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution:
• Triassic of China (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
