Sister taxa: Myrmeciites goliath, Myrmeciites tabanifluviensis
Type specimen: UCCIPRL-18 F-974, an exoskeleton (worker, mostly well preserved in lateral aspect). Its type locality is McAbee (University College of the Cariboo TRU coll), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in Canada.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at McAbee (University College of the Cariboo TRU coll)
