Belongs to Nucundata according to J. B. Waterhouse 1964
Sister taxa: Nucundata cuiluanensis, Nucundata obliqua, Nucundata prolonga, Nucundata truncata
Type specimen: NZGS TM3503. Its type locality is GS6071, Letham Burn (D44/f9622), which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in the Mangarewa Formation of New Zealand.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal deposit feeder-suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Permian of New Zealand (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
