Type specimen: B-72, a hindwing (complete hindwing). Its type locality is Ruby River, between Peterson and Morman Creeks, which is in a Whitneyan lacustrine shale in the Renova Formation of Montana.

Distribution: found only at Ruby River, between Peterson and Morman Creeks
