Type specimen: MCSNB 3317, a skeleton. Its type locality is Cene, Seriana Valley, which is in an Alaunian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Zorzino Limestone Formation of Italy.

Distribution: found only at Cene, Seriana Valley
