Type specimen: PIMUZ T.2880, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Cascinello, Tessin collection, Monte San Giorgio, which is in an Illyrian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/shale in the Besano Formation of Switzerland.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Cascinello, Tessin collection, Monte San Giorgio
