Belongs to Petigurus according to C. Poulsen 1937
Sister taxa: Petigurus cullisoni, Petigurus cybele, Petigurus inexpectatus, Petigurus nero
Type specimen: Its type locality is Locality 6, Andrée Land, which is in an Arenig carbonate limestone in the Cape Weber Formation of Greenland
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution:
• Arenig of Greenland (4 collections)
• Ordovician of Canada (5: Newfoundland, Newfoundland and Labrador), Greenland (1), Norway (2)
Total: 12 collections each including a single occurrence
