Type specimen: PIN 371/972, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Ak-Bulak-Say, Sogjuta, Issyk-Kul (PIN Collection 371), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Dzhil Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
